Lets hope its a bit more watertight then Southampton had with Alderweireld then

A while back Dave Sully confirmed that in the option, terms had been agreed with his club AND the player.

Bit of a step down for him, isn't it?

Steve P 1:29 Sun Nov 15
Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
He had a great game against them so I'm not surprised they might be interested.

I'd us to lose him now. I think after the Demba Ba transfer, Sullivan is more focused on the deal being watertight.

"Lanzini, who made his Rvier Plate debut at the age of 17, is excited at the prospect of remaining in East London. He said: "London is great - there is so much history and lots of places to discover"

Made the point a week or so ago that a permanent deal should be sorted and agreed, got a response that this was old hat! Reading posts today it doesn't sound very old hat to me, this should be sorted in the next week or two.

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
Not surprised at all that other clubs would be interested, he's been a sensation.

A key difference between him and Payet, imo, is that he is simply more reliable with the defensive side of the game. Payet you have to make special dispensation for in the way the team is organised, Lanzini much less so.

......he's also a lot youger.

First team at West ham, Moving to the OS or move to the bin dippers sit on the bench and watch while 10,000 of the best supporters ever (apparently) stream out after crystal palace yet again take all 3 Points from Anfield.
Hmmm tough.

This is clearly a move by his agent. He will probably leave. Fuck him.

Can't see any of our current crop wanting to leave before playing at The OS

Mike Oxsaw 5:55 Sun Nov 15
Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
I suspect this is simply more column-inch filling "Media darlings can bully any player they like onto their books" bollocks, whoever wrote it.

Probably a sly drink or two in it for the author, though.

Any player outside the top 4 and playing well gets linked with Liverpool

The Spurs rumour will be next week

Lazy journalism

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
More lazy media outlets picking this up now. I have a mate I know who worked in the USA as a journalist and he spent all his day trawling the web and picking up American stories, rewriting them to suit the UK reader and sold them to the red top rags. Same thing with news nowadays. A bunch of piss soaked journos looking through web sites to fill up column inches.

Liverpool are not a "big club" if success is the measure over the last 10 years. London is a greater pull for foreign players and the OS etc. Will take us to win something of note before journalists will change their tune though.

closest thing to Modric according to Slav.

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
Lazy scouting this.

Medium size club scouts well and finds a gem.

Then supposedly bigger club sees him do well so thinks their so called "big name" can turn him.

Lazy scouse cunts, try find someone decent abroad yourselves.

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
Agent spreading rumours to force a quicker and better deal from WH. Happens all the time.

Scouse probably don't want him. Find the quotes!

Russ of the BML 2:59 Mon Nov 16
Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
They probably aren't the only ones tracking him. He's too good to go un-noticed.

Italian hammer 4:52 Mon Nov 16
Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
Lanzini is on the agenda of several italian club as well.
Juventus and Napoli on top of the list.
